I joke that I was raised by wolves, but being raised by business brokers isn’t too much different. As a child, my father owned restaurants, and at a certain point, he decided that he was better off selling them than running them. Fast forward 20 years and he’d built the biggest restaurant brokerage firm in the country. Dang, he was proud. And I was proud to work alongside of him until the day he passed away. 

My training and education in business came from a real boots on the ground let’s figure this sh*t out approach. Sure, you can go to business school, or stick your nose in a book, but learning how to sell businesses, practice real estate, and get to where I am today was learned in real-time. 

Was it graceful? Nope!
